Market?
The market isn't wrecked by competition. The market IS competition. Your
profits may be wrecked if customers choose less expensive options, but
in many cases, I believe the low end registrars will be more trouble
than they are worth.
Some customers won't ever figure that out.
Some customers are more trouble than they are worth too. ;-)
There may be exceptions, but in time, I think experienced domain name
owners will choose to maintain their domain name record through a
reputable company with services and reputations that encompass more than
just saving a few bucks once a year!
