The market is not wrecked by competition (that's why I never said it was), but
it can be hurt by resellers selling for too low a price. This is one reason we
(the US) have anti-dumping laws (not applicable here).
As business owners, we are aware of the costs of doing business. For this
reason, we don't just sell for a small margin above raw materials cost. We
factor in overhead, risk, etc., and try to make extra money so we can improve,
hopefully becoming more competitive through a number of different ways, not
merely cost cutting.
