I just tried a transfer on the live system -- it appeared in the reseller
area as a pending Transfer, with the option to Transfer or Cancel. When I
chose Transfer and clicked Submit, I received the usual "Registration has
been completed message" Looks like I'm going to need to revise the verbiage
of that letter, to indicate something about the next steps in the
registration transfer...
By the way, there seems to be no way to try out transfers on horizon -- for
any domains that we registered through horizon it complains that they're
already on OpenSRS, and for domains that truly exist elsewhere it indicates
that they're not registered.
As a suggestion to OpenSRS -- In the resellers area, add a separate letter
to be sent when a Transfer is processed (approved out of pending state), and
one to send when the Transfer is actually completed and the user can manage
the domain through manage.cgi.
