Starting a domain registrar business

I am very new to this (business and opensrs). So please be patient :-)

Can opensrs be used for starting a domain registration business?

I have already installed opensrs and all the necessary perl modules (in
linux) and want to know how much time does one need to allocate to running
this kind of business. Once everything is setup such as credit card
verification and all, how much of my time would be needed for maintenance?
