I am looking for a (let's hope reasonable cost) service for the following needs:
1. own nameservers (preferably based on one of my domains - but if not then sufficiently anonymous)
- I need to be able to create parked domains and domains that point to under construction pages etc.
- I need to be able to support url redirection (to ip or to domain/directory - caters for those with free server sites and domains that point to under construction pages etc - would be useful if you can provide stealth/frames redirection facilities) and email redirection.
- I would like a script based system to add entries to the nameserver.
- I do not want to be paying an amount per month for each domain parked via the nameserver - just a flat fee for the nameserver
2. ability to create hostnames for any hosted domain (and of course set up MX or redirects for these)
3. optionally - ability to set up directory based accounts eg www.maindomain.com/username1 (with ability for protected ftp etc)
- as well as std hosted accounts with own domain name
4. flexibility to add space/bandwidth/pop & ftp accounts
5. preferably Unix based
Anyone want to give me some figures ?
