Okay, Charles, you're right -- he who pays the piper calls the tune. But I
think more, rather than less, information is useful here, because what might
not be useful to one person is exactly what someone else is looking for.
Plus, the delete key is never far away for anyone who isn't interested in a
particular post.
But more than anything, I just wish those who are critical or laying down
the rules or whatever could be a little more courteous about it (I mean, we
went through the "sod off, Ido" round a couple of weeks ago that, while it
provided some chuckles, went on through several message rounds). I tried to
refrain from saying anything to Gerald's initial posting, but you can see
Michael came back himself. Most people are pretty friendly and civil (and
in fact, I have made some new friendly contacts through this list), and
maybe some people do not mean to be nasty but e-mail always provides an
opportunity to be misunderstood (and I do appreciate your *smiles* and
*grins,* okay? ***GRINNN***!!!)
Well, that's all I have to say. I can't even be provoked into saying more
on this topic. I bid everyone a good night, or whatever it is in their
parts of the world.
Thanks for reading all this stuff.
Frank
