Ahh...there we go with the 'free' thing. In an industry where companies pay
thousands, millions on e-commerce and
web-development, $99 for a good product like SecureCRT doesnt exactly break
the bank. A recent thread on isp-webhosting
showed a large number of hosting outfits have decided to turn off telnet and
only offer SSH. This is a very sound security
decision. If it doesnt match one's needs, one could always move to a
dedicated server and leave as many security holes open as one wishes.
