I have a lot of domains for sale on eBay. 80% of them sell. I don't choose
to advertise them on this list, because I don't feel they have any relation
to OpenSRS. (For anyone who cares, my eBay ID is auction@VirtualIDs.com)
Having said that, here's what I think:
1. My domains sell on eBay because I start them cheap with no reserve and
let the bidders decide what they are worth.
2. If I owned (if one can "own" a domain name) PowerDotComs.com, and wasn't
planning to use it, and someone offered me $250.00 for it, I would sell it
to them.
3. There is no such thing as a professional domain name appraisal. Anyone
who appraises a domain and is not willing to immediately buy it for at least
50% of the appraisal is blowing smoke.
(My opinions, worth about what you paid for them, and not easily changed.)
