Hi Russ,

Yes we can. We will do the transfer for you at US $15, this includes the one
year renewal that you get alongwith the transfer. The transfer in effect is
free and you pay only the renewal fees which are US $15 for a year. The year
is added to the existing time left for the expiry of the domain. The
transfer normally takes about 3 days, but can take upto 2 weeks in rare
cases.

The host can be anybody in the world. The domain is only registered with
OpenSRS as the registrar, beyond that it is the same as with any other
Registrar including NetSol.

Subject: Transfer Domain Names

Group,

Question 1:
Can anyone out there transfer a domain name from Network Solutions to
the OpenSRS for me. If so, what is the charge, and, how long does it take?

Question 2:
If I establish a website on the domain name after it is transferred, does
the
host have to be registered as a member of the OpenSRS?

Thanks for the help.

Russ
