Actually, in many countries there's an implied copyright on email
someone sends, so that technically speaking, you're not allowed
to forward it without their permission.
I don't think Scott was saying you shouldn't complain on the list.
He was just that you shouldn't forward emails without consent.
He's right, it isn't netiquette... of course, I don't know all the
circumstances, so maybe he felt it was his only resort.
