RE: phpDomain (OpenSRS + Billing) for $49.95!

Jim,

The search for other TLD's function works fine on our site, devNIC.com.

The programmer will be in touch regarding what the error means, you should
hear from him tomorrow sometime. This is a localized installation problem, not
a global software issue. We put out products and services behind which we
can stand 100% -- there is no doubt in my mind that phpDomain is an excellent
product without any major problems at this point. A lot of testing has been
done, and a LOT of customers are using it, and the error messages should
become far more friendlier in the future versions to allow you to troubleshoot
problems directly -- that is a planned feature.

The bizops list is not a place for this sort of a discussion -- as I said, our
software is 100% functional -- see <http://www.devnic.com> www.devnic.com for yourself. Everything
there works to the best of my knowledge.

Vladislav,

I've still never received a reply as to why the whois doesn't work - here is what is returned to my browser:

Array ( [stream_type] => socket [unread_bytes] => 0 [timed_out] => [blocked] => 1 [eof] => 1 ) no initialization vectorArray (
[stream_type] => socket [unread_bytes] => 0 [timed_out] => [blocked] => 1 [eof] => 1 )
Fatal error: Maximum execution time of 30 seconds exceeded in /usr/home/web/devnic/devnic.com/classes/opensrs.php on line 1111

I'm very interested in the whois search function that is supposed to suggest other TLD's or other domains if the one entered is
unavailable. You state that the software is 100% functional - but this just doesn't work and you haven't addressed it even though
I've asked.

I know that this is not the forum to solve this product's problems, but I feel others may be interested in learning of the
unresolved issues and the lack of response I've had. Hopefully some people have been satisfied, this is just my experience.

Regards,

Jim Whitesell

Greetings,

Woah, must be toast me day. Alright, let me address each issue one-by-one.

If you bought phpDomain and it does not work, please contact
support@thinkhost.com and we will get it working for you, even if it
means offering our setup service free of charge should it turn out that
the fault lies with something within the installation routine we provide.

The software is 100% functional, we sell a fair number of domains each
day with it through our website at www.devnic.com <http://www.devnic.com/> and I have seen a few
of our customers sites who do the same. If there is an installation
problem, we will do everything necessary to remedy it, and provide a
paid installation service.

As for the website issues, I will correct those, thanks for bringing it
to my attention.

Sincerely,
                                  )))))
