William Walsh seems to have disappeared.

I doubt you will find anything off-the-shelf that will suit your
needs but here's a couple of things you can look at for DNS:

    http://www.powerdns.com/
    http://www.poweradmin.org/

I use powerdns as do several of the larger domain/DNS providers on
this list. Being SQL based it solves a lot of problems for distributed
systems where mucking about with flat files and magic entries in
directories is just not practical.
