Hmmm... the version I'm trying to use is 1.9.1b according to the name of
the tar file. But this is the latest version available at <URL:http://ww
w.opensrs.org/src/old/>. trying to "cheat" by manually going to
<URL:http://www.opensrs.org/src/old/opensrs-client-1.9.6b.tar.gz>
results (predictably) in a 404 not found ...?

Where can I get a copy of 1.9.6b?

... or are you referring to <URL:http://www.opensrs.org/src/old/opensrs-
client-pre-2.0-1.9.6b.tar.gz>? If so, then I'm stumped, since isn't this
the one that requires the use of the perl modules which I haven't yet
been able to implement?

Regards

Colin
