Can I just say in Tucows defense, that their primary goal right now
should be making the registration system better and more feature rich.
They chose Perl to implement the client programs in, and although I
am a big PHP nut (my whole web site uses it), I think they need to
take the position that they're supporting Perl and nothing else right
now. Also remember that the client programs are an open source
initiative, so they're really under no obligation to support even
those (see the General Public License).

As Richard Stallman might say, "here's the code, if you need [a PHP
version] write it yourself." :-)

Having said that, a reply from OpenSRS tech support simply stating that
they can't be bothered with PHP right now would be nice.
