I agree absolutely. I know theOpenSRS guys are busy, and I am
extremely grateful for all their hard work and dedication to this
project, but a simple one-line reply like "it works now" would
be appreciated.

As far as the client goes, I'd like to see it follow the normal open
source development path. They've started the ball rolling, and now
it's up to us to make it better.

In fact, I offer this: I'll donate space on my FTP server for OpenSRS
client projects. If you would like to submit client software you're
working on, send it as an attachment to opensrs@fpcc.net tar.gz format
please, unless it's for NT, then Zip format. Also, a README explaining
the package would be nice too. I'll then put it into
ftp://ftp.fpcc.net/pub/opensrs. If this catches on, I'll work on
making the process easier, and maybe even setting up a web page.
