Benny,
All it is is the path where you're going to store the opensrs files.
i.e. if you've got your templates and lib folders in
/usr/home/johndoe/opensrs/templates
and
/usr/home/johndoe/opensrs/lib
then you'd need your $PATH_HOME to be
$PATH_HOME=/usr/home/johndoe/opensrs
THe sole purpose for this is so that the scripts know where to find
things. If you want you can go into the register and manage cgi scripts
and define the paths yourself.
The username is just there because most people will be working on a
webserver under their user directory - it has nothing to do with the
opensrs username. Actually, none of the path is manditory - it can be
totally different - what's there is just supposed to be a guide.
Hope this help
Chris
