Straight from the "README"

Installation Requirements:
--------------------------
1. Web server which allows cgi execution
2. perl5
3. Perl modules: Digest::MD5, Crypt::DES, Crypt::CBC (install in that order)
**Note** Crypt::IDEA is an optional module which Crypt::CBC can
link against, but it is not required.
4. Valid username / password issued by OpenSRS
5. Valid 'private key'. Once you have your username/password, you will need
to login to the reseller admin area and generate your key. Note, you
can change this key at any time should you feel that it has been
viewed by others. The reseller admin area is located here for testing
   purposes: https://horizon.opensrs.net/~vpop/resellers/

Installation:
---------------

1) Copy etc/OpenSRS.conf to the desired location.

2) Edit OpenSRS.conf per your system configuration, inserting your username
and private key as well.-----Original Message-----

Subject: Passwords

Has the password been changed to a DES encrypt key in the latest version
of open srs from a plain text key. If so do i have to apply for a new
private key.
