I have talked with Tom McDonald the lead programmer for the OpenSRS project.
We have talked at length about things that the client and the server need to
be able to support and do. This is one of the things that I have talked with
him about and it is planned that the reg_system.cgi will support the option
of a check box to use the default DNS and technical contact or uncheck the
box and fill in all the blanks with different DNS and technical contact. It
will also be supported in the bulk registration like this as well.

So OpenSRS is aware of the issues or potential problems with the current
method and plans to change this.
