An implementation completely in ASP would not be able to support encryption
as you suggest, but a COM object instantiated from ASP can support all of
the features required to make OpenSRS work. Several of us are working on
just such an implementation. I currently have ASP scripts that (using our
object) check for the availability of, and register domains, and although
this object does not yet support encryption, it will. If you're interested,
send me a note off list.
