You should try to get the following versions:
Digest::MD5 2.09
Crypt::DES 1.01
Crypt::CBC 1.20
Currently Crypt::CBC is at version 1.22 (available at CPAN). The
programming environment is still not compatible with this latest version,
which was released on January 26th 2000. We have a slightly older, and
compatible version available here. Support for Crypt::CBC v1.22 should be
available shortly.
