Never mind. My mistake. A little thought and I figured it out. When I
gave the OpenSRS folks the ip address of my system running the opensrs
scripts, I gave the _inbound_ server address as accessed from the world
(connections initiated outside the firewall). I failed to take into account
that the ip that Port Address Translation on my firewall uses for _outbound_
connections from the server is different.

Hi,
I have the same problem as the two guys before me. I have investigated
the problem further and it seems like the live system is not accepting
my connection. Compare this:

Connected to horizon.opensrs.net.

xOpenSRS SERVER 3.0: READY
The live system however tells me:

Trying 207.136.100.161...
Connected to rr-n1-tor.opensrs.net.
Escape character is '^]'.

What's wrong?
Bye, Rolf
PS: Yes I'm using CBC-Crypt 1.20, but obviously it's not getting that far.
