hello,

I would like to be able to query the SRS and find and associate contacts
for new domain registrations where the contact is in the SRS but were
created by another register.

The current API (which isn't an API) can't create a domain and associate
it with a contact unless the contact's password and previous domain
registration are already known.

we need to be able to lookup and associate a contact with a new
registration w/o previously registering the contact under another domain.
This is required for any system that does not use the provided Perl client
and OpenSRS.pl library.

a proposed interface would be as follows:

   authenticate...
   %contact lookup_contact( handle )
   Hanlde = find_contact( full name, e-mail, phone )

then in a register domain we can either provide the full contact
information or the refrence. This fuctionality is necessassary for anyone
that wants to build a template system into the OpenSRS.
