Colin -

I've just this morning finished up my OpenSRS-PHP library. I
haven't tested it yet, but I'm hopeful. At the very least, there's a
description in english of the "handshaking" that goes on at the
beginning of the connection. You can get the latest and greatest at:

    http://devel.duluoz.net/OpenSRS-PHP/OpenSRS-PHP-0.1.tar.gz

I should be able to test this in the next few days and see if it
works, but in the meantime, I thought I'd make it generally available.
