Hi all...

Not being an expert in Perl, I was wondering if I could get a hint from
yuo folks about how the encryption works. Is it standard DES encryption?
I'm in the process of implementing a suite of Java servlets to talk to
the server, and am stubmling on the encryption. I read that the Perl CBC
module used can't be the newest, so I was wondering if this meant that
the DES algorathim used is incompatible with DES.

BTW, I picked Java for a portable sollution that can talk to a JDBC
datasource...

Any suggestions would be appreciated...
