Hi:
When you initiate the transfer procedure, through reg_system.cgi, there is
no spot for nameserver values. Does this mean that if a customer fills out
the form, that they are going to also be processing a nameserver change to
our preset OpenSRS nameserver values, that we have set in the Tech Contact
preferences in our OpenSRS Reseller profile?
There is no mention of this in the specs for the new client, nor in the
OpenSRS FAQ.
We need to know this. If it changes the nameservers too, because its done
through reg_system.cgi, then the whole procedure is flawed, and should be
taken offline immediately. Such and event, as the nameservers being
switched along with the transfer of registrar, could really screw an end
user up miserably.
This needs to be clarified immediately, so that we can make alternate
templates, or whatever to take customer's orders for transfers, and then
process them manually, I guess.
