RE: the system of openSRS

Y'know, I think Ernaldi brings up a very good point (if I'm understanding
correctly); there is a truckload of information we need to offer our
customers
and during the price of putting up the site, hashing out all of the
specifics
of a glossary of terms, FAQ's, etc., etc. Frankensteining and plagiarizing
is frequently
what ends up happening, resulting in disjointed and poorly phrased
statement.

I realize there exists a morass of litigious concerns with offering such
copy;
can Tucows work around this by offering DomainDirect as an example site and
let
us minions adapt whatever copy applies and personalize it from there?

I read an article today that BulkRegister.com has moved into the #3 position
for Domain name creation? Honestly, I saw the site and felt....indifferent.
Nothing too spectacular in my opinion. Their deal certainly isn't as
attractive as Tucows, but you don't need any technical acuity either. (Don't
change anything for awhile Tucows, we need all the barriers to entry we can
get ;^))

I recognize that this may be written somewhere, but I've done so much
reading
in the last few weeks my head has exceeded recommended carrying capacity;
please
refrain from sending RTFM comments. I'll get to it, I'll get to it.

I say that a lot these days ;^)

Perhaps someone could offer their services as a last-step security check
analyst?
We're going to use an outsource to evaluate our CGI integration with B of A,
but I think
it would be better to have someone with a working knowledge of the OpenSRS
system.

In my experience with the internet, somebody, somewhere has already been
there, done that and could write the FAQ.

Just my $.02 (US)

Subject: the system of openSRS

Hello again...

Many thanks for the answer but you guyz only talked about the system. What i
mean in here is the procedure between us (as the registrant or the owner)
with costumer (as client) and with the opensrs (the company not the
system!). Maybe i did not know about opensrs so much, because my site not
yet publish to the world (still in development). Might be you all in here,
who has already publihed their site known well about:
1. How do we know about how many peoples register the domains from the site,
might be admin area?
2. Is there any documents (that we give to costumers, might be samples)from
opensrs? or in this "full system", we should prepare by ourownselves?
3. Secured system, does opensrs provided it when we go live or not?
These questions are still in my mind and because this is my first step
moving from quick system to full system, it's make me scared..why? because
it's about services to public. How if they do not satisfied with our
services or many could be happening in here.
So i really pleased and very happy if you guyz who already publish their
site, like ukreg.com, could share their first time having costumer online
with me or maybe with peoples in this forum that not yet online.
Once again thanks....

Best Regards,
Ernaldi Agoes
