I'm still waiting for useful and complete documentation on the OpenSRS
protocol.
If anyone has the time to document the protocol and create an object model
around it, I would be willing to write the component. I've got the skills
and even an encryption background, see http://www.cryptoobject.com
<http://www.cryptoobject.com> . What I don't have is the time to
reverse-engineer the protocol.
The hard part is the documentation process as evident by the lack of
documentation coming out of OpenSRS.

Several people are considering such a component. I've spoken with Paul Rony
offline about doing something like that, and several others have posted
messages indicating that they were considering it or working on it.
It has been a fairly low priority for me, though, because the existing code
works so well on NT as is. The changes that must be made are minimal, and
there is almost nothing that doesn't work on NT (the only exception is that
your choice of encryption methods of limited somewhat).
Additionally, the OpenSRS code has new features added sufficiently often
that it would be a hassle to keep the two in sync...gee, I've almost talked
myself out of doing it. ;^)

Hi All,
I was woundering if the OpenSRS team, or anyone else for that matter, are
thingking of, or are already, developing an ASP component for OpenSRS.
I am thinking that this will be a no as Windows is not yet officially
supported, but you can get ASP on UNIX etc these days.....
thoughts.. ideas...??
Best Regards,
