I've written a brief HOWTO for Installing the OpenSRS client code with local
Perl module installation at http://www.shorecom.com/opensrs.html .

I think it will be most interesting for those attempting to install for the
first time.

There is no substitution for the OpenSRS FAQ and mailing list archives at
http://www.opensrs.com

Please forward any additions/corrections to my attention offlist.
