I tried a whois just now which resulted in:

sparcy:pgregg/pts/51-~-41%->whois -h whois.opensrs.net ns.com 9:33PM
No match for NS.COM

As you can imagine I went scurrying for register.cgi only to find it wasn't
available. A whois \=ns.com showed who really had it.
