I have yet to see any give the impression that you can develop an OpenSRS
site in anything but CGI's, that's wrong. I'm doing my site in ColdFusion,
but you could do it just the same in ASP or whatever.

Maybe it just needs to be stated, "Open SRS" is not just for CGI
programmers!!! If you know ASP or something else you too can develop the
site, you simply do what the "cgi"s are doing in the other language (all the
cgi's do is dynamically make html, just like ASP)

Now that isn't to say that you won't use cgi at all (unless you want and
endless project), rather you call the cgi (in asp), to send the data to the
server and then parse the result yourself (in asp) not in the cgi. Using the
HTTP Get you can call a cgi and read the result.

I hope this helps some of you out there, who like me, no very little
cgi/perl - yes, open srs is for programmers, but not just cgi programmers

Programming experience. OpenSRS is a programmer's API. If you don't know
how to write CGIs and complex applications, it isn't for you.
