I made some changes to reg_system.cgi , listed below
Added Head/Foot system in place of Base system for templates
I added this because I wanted to have different titles for each page.
Added Modifier words to produce many more available domains.
The words can be specified in the OpenSRS.conf .
Added technical contact as template and "Same as" check box
I made significant changes to the html, and the tech contact html was
hardcoded.
Added Custom NameServer as template
Same reason as the technical contact.
Added minimum domain years variable, to set the minimum registration
period
Added domain year price, so the price can be calculated and shown to
the user
added template variables {{number_of_domains}} {{price_domain_year}}
{{price}}
Added Local DataBase to hold _all_ information about registered domains
I was hoping this could be used when the registry system goes down,
then changes
could be made to the local database and later sync'ed with OpenSRS.
It would also
be useful for a custom billing system. The routines were implemented
with DBI.
I haven't distributed these changes in any way. I don't know what has
been added to the version 2.0.3 client, but if these changes are useful
to
anyone please let me know.
