Correct - the lookup is performed through the client code, which talks
<directly> to the root registry (via OpenSRS' systems).

As was mentioned in different faqs on OpenSRS site WHIOS can't give correct answer about availability of domain. Only lookup on root servers can, right ?

How this lookup implemented ? Is it similar to nslookup or it involves other mechanism ? If similar to nslookup, how about not real-time reloading of root zones ?

Need it for registering of domains in ua zone.
