I object! Okay, I understand why some registrars are against a straight
RSP-to-RSP transfer without adding an additional year. Since some
registrars offer additional services like dns and web forwarding for free,
it would be unfair if someone registers with one RSP (with cheaper price)
that doesn't offer any additional services and then transfer to a RSP that
does offer the cool services. But why the one or none mentality? Why not
just let the RSP set the number of years to add on during the transfer? The
RSP can set the values from 0 to 10 in the config file. Give the power to
the people (OpenSRS).
