I am a little confused about what a "Profile" is
I've tried the documentation but i couldn't find the answer.

Is the profile associated with a user or with a domain

I am writing some script and the idea of a site is that a user is
registering multiple domains. Do you think that i should register all
his domains with one profile or each domain with a different profile.

what is the difference between this two approaches if looking at this
from the user side?

if someone has done this (multiple domains per profile) can send an
example of the command you use (XML or PERL/PHP array)
