Actually your totally wrong again on all counts. My wife worked in the
travel industry for 15 years. You can bet your life that people used stolen
credit cards to buy airline tickets. It happens a lot. And then they cash
the ticket back in for a refund from the airline or take the flight and
almost never get caught. If I buy an airline ticket for tomorrow or a few
days from now, chances are very good that the charge won't be disputed
before I get a chance to use the airline ticket. I also happen to know that
people have bought all kinds of things mail-order (computers, laptops,
camera, camcorders, kerosene lamps, etc.) and had them shipped to an
apartment or empty house for sale and then just disappeared. It happens all
the time. If you want to know more about it read the book "Hacker Crackdown"
by Bruce Sterling. I have actually talked with Bruce several times, and gave
him some material to use when he was writing the book and doing research for
it.
