I gave the full story. I guesss I should have made an
attachment of his web page and send it also. I must admit I
did not expect it to change.
I guess the key is not to misrepresent yourself in these
lists.
>From his previous messages, it appeared he was involved in
accepting credit cards for domain name registration and was
making the argument that bad credit cards was a normal cost
of doing business.
To quote his exact message that gave this impression:
"You obviously have little or no actual experience in a
retail business.
Theft/loss is such a normal "cost of sales" in any retail
(even wholesale)
business that all business plans and accounting methods
ALWAYS allow for it.
The ratio varies depending on the specific industry, but it
is such and
established foundation of retail business that the industry
even gives a
cutesy euphemism - "inventory shrinkage".
Wouldn't it be nice if, in this thread especially, only
those
businesspersons who have had direct, actual experience with
CC chargebacks
and theft/fraud loss reply ... and the dreamers and
perfect-worlders keep the delusions to a
minimum.
Cheers,
Eric Ross
QuickNames.com "
>From this and his other posts, it appeared he was involved
in registering domain name with OpenSRS and had the
experience that he requested of others, ie again "Wouldn't
it be nice if, in this thread especially, only those
businesspersons who have had direct, actual experience with
CC chargebacks and theft/fraud loss reply".
In this case, his site is significant because it counters
the points he was making in the lists.
