ARIN is the regional registry for the American region. ARIN stands for the
American Registry for Internet Numbers. They are similar to the APNIC - the
Asia Pacific Registry, and RIPE NCC - the European Registry. These
registries are formed as non-profit organizations, therefore, they assess a
small fee to delegate IP addresses to cover the cost of operation. You can
reach ARIN by e-mail at hostmaster@arin.net. Their web site - www.arin.net.
