The other problem you have is that if you decide to go buy your own
block of IP addresses, that still doesn't get them routed to your
machine. Most upstream providers are NOT willing to add your address
blocks to their router tables, and even if they do, unless EVERY
upstream provider does also you will not get reliable routing.
