Hello,
This is mainly for OpenSRS decision makers, but I thought I would throw it
out to the group for general comments.
We have been given a way to "brand" the transfer confirmation web page,
however we have users getting confused when they receive the e-mail from
OpenSRS since that e-mail does not include our name.
When a customer submits a registrar transfer, we include instructions that
an e-mail will be sent to the admin contact of the domain from OpenSRS to
confirm the transfer, however, people being human, they get confused and
wonder what this e-mail is and they follow the advise of the last line "If
you do not wish to approve this transfer, simply ignore this message and
the request will be cancelled."
Since OpenSRS knows which RSP the transfer request is submitted
through, I suggest a simple change to the e-mail that is sent out. Below
is a modified copy of the transfer letter. I have included my suggested
change in ALL CAPS to make it easier to see. We would not need a way to
customize this as it could be the same for all RSP's, with OpenSRS
plugging in the appropriate RSP NAME.
