Ok, hypothetical scenario

Domain owner wants to transfer from RSP XX to RSP YY because YY offers
cheaper webhosting

so XX changes the Name Servers, but remains as the RSP

when the renewal is due, it's down to XX to chase the domain onwer for
payment

If payment is not forthcoming, XX doesn't pay OpenSRS and then presumably
the domain is put on hold...

web page ceases to function

domain owner yells at YY who has no way of finding out that XX hasn't paid
OpenSRS....

Hello,

Although we can change resellers, it's a manual process and we prefer not to do it unless there is a problem

If you have the login/password for the domain, it makes no difference what reseller account it's on.

We will have an automated process in the near future, hopefully you can wait till then.
