That's odd... I got an answer from you but never saw my message appear on the list... <shrug>
Thanks for the valuable info!

I didn't know this... I'm sure it used to work, I do have over 100 domains but the last report (several months ago) worked okay... <another shrug>
No way I'm calling them at $4 a minute from here (Africa) I guess I'll just have to yell at them some more by e-mail, until I get someone to listen...

Cool, I think I'll sleep easier knowing that...

I already have them set up, so no worries there...

So "LB1520" kinda becomes obsolete, once I transfer *everything* away from them? OpenSRS doesn't use NIC handles for anything? Hang on, it must... who shows up as responsible on a WHOIS if it's not using a NIC handle?
(Sorry to come back at you with more questions)
I'm still confused on the admin/reporting side - if I keep them in one profile, okay I can understand that for finding what domains *I'm* supposed to be responsible for - but how about finding what domains my nameservers are supposed to be responsible for? Typical example - when I request a report from NSI, I usually do it for both my NIC handle and my Nameserver - just in case someone's listed my nameserver on a domain without my knowledge. Does the NSI report ONLY show domains registered through NSI for my nameserver, or ANY com, net or org (i.e. registered through another registrar). I assumed, perhaps foolishly, that since it was the root server they were running the query against it would show all domains listed for my nameserver regardless of who they're registered through.
Finally, if this is not the case, is there a way *I* can query the root servers to find what domains my nameserver's supposed to be responsible for?
Regards
Bob
