WorldNIC do have a pretty bizarre system... IME they do set the admin
contact email to no.valid.email@worldnic.com - or at least that's what
appears on the WHOIS, but if the registrant goes into their control panel
with their login and pass, under the "registrant" section, it does have
their correct address.
So WorldNIC have access to the correct email addy but not anyone else
Not sure how to change it though other than shouting at Network Polutions

Does anyone have experience with WorldNIC?
A customer is having trouble changing the Admin Email address in order to transfer. Apparently, they always use invalid Email addresses.
