disableing nameserver edit slows all down

I have disabled the "edit nameservers" in the .conf file and now, when
accessing the order form, it`s VERY slow!!

Does it first look up my nameservers?? But my nameservers have been there
before as well, in the tech-information on the OpenSRS reseller site.

any idea?
