Communicate.com is a million dollar company with ties in Vancouver, the
website designer had an idea years ago to register a bunch of generic domain
names and then find funding to build portals on them! He got his millions in
funding for yen.com and hockey.com etc
They are starting off with the sports names and business names and
eventually will do their set of country names and entertainment/product
names as well. Kinda 'plastic' for an idea but he is rich and hey aint that
the goal:)

Which makes me wonder waht a dot com and .net name will be worht when all
the other extensions are released. Is the popularity of domain auction sites
becuase people want to getrid of good names for a quick buck before the new
ones come out and flood or are .coms like (ie) www.itna.com really going to
be worth a chunk of loonies in ten years?
Cheers
Gord
