I am sorry to hear that you are having problems finding a FREE webhost.
Some webhosts have some strange rules, but when you register a domain
name it is usable on any webhost. The companies you were talking to probably
have some kind of deal setup with NetSol and register.com. If you give me
the
FREE webhosts contact info I will be glad to speak to them for you.
As for the issue about your domain name being re-sold to you, this is true.
But even NetSol and register.com are RESELLERS. They do not own the
domain names they sell. All domain names come from one source, which
is the INTERNIC. Tucows has the same authority over domain name
reselling as NetSol and register.com. If you read the agreement at time
of registering your domain name, you will notice that we state that we are
resellers for Tucows.
