This does not prove that the admin contact should not be the
owner, it just proves that the OpenSRS system is flawed in
that it does not give the RSP nor tech contact enough
authority over the domain name management.
It would be nice if OpenSRS would give the tech contact and
the RSP at least as much authority as Network Solutions
gives the tech contact.

OpenSRS does not give the technical contact any capability
whatsoever.
If the technical contact could do technical matters, then
yes, there
would not be a need for anyone other than the domain owner
being the
admin contact. However, OpenSRS does not allow the
technical contact to
do anything and as such, there are instances where other
people need to
be the admin contact.
