Greetings,
I want to thank everyone for their comments, guidance, quips, comebacks,
and involvements in these lists. I've been working in the OpenSRS group
since February 1st, starting as a 'tech' person (there wasn't much need
for a department then), and moving the Support Manager. Over the past 8
months I have worked very closely with OpenSRS to help it grow, mold it
into a shape that we can all work with, added features, fixed problems,
etc...
Today I am no longer with the Support Department. I have been promoted to
a position in the Product Management team, where (for now...) I will be
working with Jennifer Gray to develop and rollout new ccTLDs. We expect
to rollout 25-50 in the next year (at a rate of approximately 1-2 every
other week). Details on expected ccTLDs will be released as they become
pertinent, but I know very exciting developments will come out in the next
few months.
With this change, I will be less and less involved in the intracicies of
OpenSRS and its support. I am remaining onlist (of course!) to help out
where I can, but as time passes I will be less and less capable of
answering directed questions.
I love working here, and these lists are part of the reason why - the
community that we've built is like none I've ever seen. I'm looking
forward to remaining involved, albeit from a different perspective.
