I sent a bunch of modify requests on 12/21/2000 and got replies from NSI on
12/28/2000, seven days later. In fact I had transferred the domain in that
time, so my error reply from NSI was "domain not registered". How nice of them
to finally reply.

It's WELL worth transferring.
