Actually it is not the only one way :)
1. you can try to check via Register.com or NSI.com
2. there is form for translating multilinguals,
http://www.opensrs.org/cgi-bin/RACE/index.cgi
and after finding RACE for name you can check encoded name
via usual non-multilingual lookup...
Why lookup not added to that form is a BIG question...
