register.com still has default NACK on transfers

A customer of mine has got sick of the c##p at register.com and is now
trying to transfer away from them.

They initiated the transfer and clicked on the correct link on the
confirmation email that register.com sent them and they still got the
following:

> We did not receive confirmation of your domain name transfer within the 3
> day authorization period. For your protection, this transfer request has
> been cancelled. Please be aware that register.com is unable to reinitiate
> this request.

> Click here to go to register.com.

We are now trying again after another few days for the transfer to timeout.
This is SO frustrating.

I thought register.com had agreed to change this policy?
